This booklet lists
most common abbreviations used in writing round dance cue sheets. The
purpose of abbreviations is to reduce the size of words, without confusing
the reader, and to conserve space within the body of the cue sheet. It
also includes guidelines that apply to the usage of abbreviations and
punctuation.
The Glossary is a separate section of the ROUNDALAB Standards that lists terms used
in Round Dancing that are not figures and may not have the same meaning as the common
dictionary definition. These terms may be in current usage or may be terms formerly
used in Round Dancing in which case the current term will be shown.

the procedures for writing a standardized cue sheet. It includes a sample cue sheet
with explanations of what each section should include. It also has sample cue sheet
segments for most rhythms.
