ROUNDALAB Membership includes access to all our resources including education, cueing, standards and more. To join, complete the application (button below) and send via email or post. Payment is not expected at time of application.

ROUNDALAB memberships are considered to be “Member Units” which includes the primary member and their teaching partner. Licensing and Insurance (US members only) extends to both members of the “member unit.”

Membership categories are as follows:

• Full Members are actively engaged in the teaching of Round Dance basics and/or other phases of Round Dance movements or forms for three or more years. They may also be cueing dances. Full members have full voting privelidges.
• Associate Members are actively engaged in the teaching of Round Dance basics and/or other phases of Round Dance movements or forms for three or fewer years.  Associate Members are not eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors or vote in the general assembly nor vote for the Board of Directors.
• Cuer Members are actively engaged in cueing round dances at square or round dance clubs, festivals or programs.  Cuer members earn voting priveledges after three years of membership. Cuer members are not eligible to vote for standards.
• Affiliate Members are Round Dance Teacher organizations and must have, as a minimum, one of its Members who is a ROUNDALAB Member in good standing.

All membership applications are subject to approval. Upon approval, the applicant will receive an electronic invoice which may be paid securely online or mailed with a check (discount applies). Fees for 2026 are:

• Dues – $140.00
• Insurance – $46.00
• License (ASCAP/BMI/SESAC) for 51 or fewer annual events – $188.00
• License (ASCAP/BMI/SESAC) for 52 or more annual events – $257.50
• New member are also charged $30 which includes member badge(s) and profile creation.
• International members do not pay insurance or license fees.
