Wayne Wylie Scholarship This scholarship is for ROUNDALAB members in good standing who wish to attend the ROUNDALAB Convention, approved ROUNDALAB MiniLab or other ROUNDALAB approved education event. Members may only receive one Wayne Wylie Scholarship in their lifetime. The recipients will be announced at the ROUNDALAB convention. The scholarship amount will not exceed the registration fee for ROUNDALAB convention. The award is named in honor of the first Chairman of ROUNDALAB, Wayne Wylie along with his wife Norma.

New Round Dance Leader Scholarship This scholarship provides funding for new round dance leader’s membership, licensing and insurance fees, and a one year subscription to the ROUNDALAB Teaching Video library. This scholarship is available to non-members who are pursuing a leadership role in the round dance activity as teacher and/or cuer and who have been active for less than 12 months. The scholarship application must be accompanied by a ROUNDALAB membership application. Application deadline is February 1. Winners will be notified by February 15 and start their membership on April 1.

National Education Committee Scholarship Fund The National Executive Committee grants up to four $250.00 scholarships per year for United States round dance cuers and square dance callers to attend educational events such as the ROUNDALAB convention, ROUNDALAB Mini-Lab or private teacher school/college/training session. The training event must occur within the calendar year that the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship recipients will be announced at each year’s National Square Dance Convention. In some cases the scholarship may be reimbursement for a training attended prior to the awarding of the scholarship, but within the same calendar year. Application deadline is December 31 for events in the upcoming calendar year.
